ABOUT ME
Charlotte De Baere was born into art.

From an early age, she was guided by her grandmother — a devoted artist who passed on not only technical skills, but a whole way of seeing: noticing color, feeling silence, and reading the world between the lines.

She grew up painting with natural ease, and graduated with distinction from the Kunsthumaniora in Belgium, mastering both figurative and abstract art.

After art school, Charlotte followed a different path — one of service, healing, and embodiment. She studied to become an occupational therapist (ergotherapeut), and worked for years supporting people through creative therapy. This grounded her gift for presence, deep listening, and the power of creation as medicine.

At 25, art returned — through dreams, visions, and deep intuitive knowing. What once had been a skill, became a spiritual language.

She began painting what she dreamt. Literally.
Compositions would wake her in the night, demanding to be born onto canvas.
Her materials — pencils, acrylics, gold leaf, eco resin, bare hands — became extensions of her inner world.
Her themes: the ocean, marine life, the cosmos, the breath of the earth, the space between all things.

Charlotte sees things others don’t.
She feels what many can't name.
She paints what words cannot say.

Through sacred, intuitive artwork, she creates visual portals — invitations to remember something ancient, unseen, and deeply familiar.

Her work has been exhibited in Belgium (Antwerp and beyond), New York City (USA), and currently in Andalucía, Spain.
